A new face for our financial friends

Client: Smith & Pinching

Smith & Pinching has been giving independent financial advice for over 50 years. With over £1.5bn assets under their management (as of 30 September 2023), S&P is one of the largest firms in the area, and the first to be awarded the Chartered Financial Planners designation in 2009 by the Chartered Insurance Institute. Our relationship with Smith & Pinching is one we’re particularly proud of and goes back over 25 years.

Our challenge:

In 2022, S&P commissioned a new website which went live in early 2023. The group subsequently asked us to look at all marketing collateral and reposition and repurpose these elements to run alongside the new site. The marketing steering group had a clear idea on the direction they wished to take, and we were happy to bring their thoughts to life.

Our solution:

The first step was to produce a document that included a dynamic grid for positioning content. Subsequently, we developeda set image style for continuity, together with a new style of typography, a suite of new email and social media templates, along with a more user-friendly tone-of-voice (TOV).

The results:

A comprehensive, compelling suite of materials that manage to capture the vision and values of Smith & Pinching. But rather than sing our own praises, let’s hear from client, Teresa Henderson, Head of Marketing of Smith & Pinching.
